2023/24 Planning Approvals

The value of planning approvals in the City of Launceston is on the increase. New figures show investment was up $57m year-on-year, with more than $372m worth of development approved in the Launceston municipality in the 2023/24 financial year. In the past five years, the City of Launceston has approved $1.52b worth of development across more than 3,200 planning applications.
